3 days basic goat husbandry training by Arghakhanchi

A 3-day basic goat rearing training organized by Chhimek Laghubitat Bittiya Sanstha Ltd Branch Office, Arghakhanchi has been conducted at Everest Hotel Arghakhanchi from 17.3.2080 to 19.3.2080.

During the training, Budhiram Gautam, a veterinary technician of Animal Services Branch, informed about the services provided by Animal Services, the provision of animal insurance, how to register a farm, and common diseases in goats. Santosh Khanal, the branch manager of the said branch, gave a comprehensive discussion about loans and savings and financial literacy. He also informed that he will become a professional after taking basic goat rearing training. Also, the training facilitator Santoshi Ghimire gave detailed information about goat breed, cage construction, how to protect goats from breeding bones, related to grass and feed management and how to become self-sufficient through business and the qualities a successful businessman should have.

In the words of the participants, they learned a lot of things they didn't know from the training. They applied what they learned in the training and became self-reliant by doing business. They also suggested that the training would have been more effective if it was 5 days instead of 3 days. We would like to thank the neighborhood organization for providing this kind of training.
